How far is Jewar Airport from Delhi?
Between about 75 and 100 km, depending on your Delhi starting point. East Delhi is nearest and south-west Delhi farthest, on our master table, all distances in one table.
| Delhi starting point | Distance | Typical drive | Route in the master table |
|---|---|---|---|
| Mayur Vihar, East Delhi | ~75-90 km | ~1h30m-1h45m | DND Flyway, Noida Expressway, Yamuna Expressway |
| Akshardham, Laxmi Nagar, Kashmiri Gate, New Delhi Railway Station | ~75-95 km band | Not published | By road |
| IGI Airport, Terminal 3 | ~80-90 km | ~1h45m-2h, off-peak | Ring Road or NH48, DND, Noida Expressway, Yamuna Expressway |

Source: Vidastu master table, data last verified 31 July 2026, figures from Eldeco Echoes of Eden's Jewar Airport Distance Guide 2026. For Mayur Vihar the range depends on the phase and the reference point; for IGI, reported figures run from about 72 km to 100 km by route and terminal.
Two notes from the master. For Dwarka residents, IGI remains the closer airport by a wide margin; Jewar mainly serves east and south-east NCR. And Gurgaon, at approximately 105-115 km, is farther still.
Which roads run from Delhi to the airport?
Every Delhi row in our master table funnels through the DND into Noida, then south to the Yamuna Expressway. What changes is how you reach the DND.
- East and central Delhi: the DND Flyway. From Mayur Vihar the master table routes DND Flyway, Noida Expressway, Yamuna Expressway. Central and east Delhi points such as Akshardham, Laxmi Nagar, Kashmiri Gate and New Delhi Railway Station sit in a similar 75-95 km band by road.
- South-west Delhi and IGI: NH48 and the Ring Road first. From IGI Terminal 3 the master routes Ring Road or NH48 to the DND, the Noida Expressway and the Yamuna Expressway. From Dwarka it routes NH48, the Delhi Ring Road, the DND and the Yamuna Expressway. Dwarka is the farthest Delhi row, at 90-100 km.
- North Delhi and the Eastern Peripheral Expressway: not yet direct. Our NRI airport guide (updated 27 June 2026) describes the 135 km EPE, from Kundli in Haryana to Palwal, as intersecting the Yamuna Expressway. A direct cloverleaf interchange between the two, near Jaganpur-Afzalpur, had not opened when Business Today reported on 2 August 2026, and we found no report of it opening by 2 November 2026. The master table has no Delhi figure via the EPE.
Toll. The Delhi routes in the master table end on the Yamuna Expressway, and the master notes the Jewar toll plaza at the airport's interchange zone. We print no toll amount, because no page on this site carries a dated, sourced one. Your FASTag app shows the current rate.
Car, or metro plus road?
No metro or train runs from Delhi to the airport. Every option ends on the road.
Metro plus road. The Delhi Metro Blue Line links with the Noida Metro Aqua Line at Noida Sector 51, and the Aqua Line runs into Greater Noida with stops including Knowledge Park II and Pari Chowk (Wikipedia, Aqua Line, checked 2 November 2026). From Pari Chowk the road leg is approximately 25-40 km and 35 to 45 minutes on our master table. We hold no sourced end-to-end time for metro plus road, so we do not print one.
Car. Use the figures in the table above as typical-route estimates, and check a live navigation app before a flight. Our airport timeline records airport access as primarily road-based (Wikipedia, April 2026).
Cab and bus. At the opening, Business Today reported on 11 June 2026 that cabs were the only way to reach the airport, and on 12 June 2026 described bus, taxi and expressway options.
Planned, and only planned
- Direct DTC buses. Buses from Delhi's Anand Vihar and Kashmere Gate ISBTs to the airport were still waiting on a reciprocal transport agreement between Delhi and Uttar Pradesh when Business Today reported on 7 August 2026. We found no report of the service starting by 2 November 2026.
- Rapid rail from Sarai Kale Khan. NCRTC was asked to prepare a revised Ghaziabad-Jewar RRTS alignment starting from Sarai Kale Khan via Pari Chowk, Ecotech-6 and Dankaur. It is at the planning and DPR-revision stage, not approved and not under construction (Metro Rail Today, 15 December 2025, on our airport timeline).
Registered housing along this drive
From the DND the drive runs through Noida and Greater Noida, then down the Yamuna Expressway past the YEIDA residential sectors. Our register directories list every UP-RERA registration whose filed name or address states each area, with the registration number, promoter and completion date read from the register.
- Noida directory: every Delhi route in the master table crosses into Noida on the DND.
- Greater Noida directory: Pari Chowk, where the Yamuna Expressway begins, is in Greater Noida.
- Yamuna Expressway directory: registrations whose filing names the expressway the last stretch of the drive runs on.
- Sector 22D directory: registrations whose filed address names Sector 22D, a YEIDA residential sector on the expressway.
- Sector 22A directory: registrations whose filed address names Sector 22A, also on the Yamuna Expressway.
A registration is a record, not an endorsement. Read the file and the promoter's other registrations before you pay anything.
