The status sheet: confirmed, reported, not confirmed
Every row below carries a tag. Confirmed means YEIDA or the concessionaire states it, or two dated sources agree. Reported means one named, dated source. Not confirmed means we looked and found nothing we could cite.

Where it is, and how you reach it
Film City sits in YEIDA Sector 21, along the Yamuna Expressway. It is close to the airport end of the YEIDA residential belt. YEIDA’s own project page places it 4 km from Noida International Airport. The airport has run commercial flights since 15 June 2026 (our airport timeline, 16 July 2026).
Road access today is the Yamuna Expressway. YEIDA’s page lists drive times of 30 to 40 minutes from Pari Chowk, Greater Noida, 55 to 65 minutes from Noida Sector 18, and 90 to 100 minutes from IGI Airport, Delhi. Those are YEIDA’s figures. We have not timed them.
Two transit links are still proposals. YEIDA’s page says a pod taxi is proposed between the airport and Film City. A revised Ghaziabad to Jewar RRTS alignment has been proposed through YEIDA Sectors 18 and 21. It has no approved alignment and no construction start (Metro Rail Today, 15 December 2025, as recorded in our airport timeline). Treat both as plans.
Which registered housing sectors are nearest
Film City is not a place to buy a home. The nearest housing on the UP-RERA register sits in the YEIDA residential belt around it. On our connectivity matrix the closest registered sectors are 22D, 20 and 18. Sector 22A is on the register too, but our matrix gives it no distance. The distances below are map-based readings from public mapping services, not surveyed figures.
| Sector | Road distance to Film City (reported) | On the UP-RERA register |
|---|---|---|
| Sector 22D | About 4 to 6 km | 10 registrations whose own filed name or address states Sector 22D. See the Sector 22D directory |
| Sector 20 | About 4 to 7 km | YEIDA’s own residential plot scheme registration for Sectors 18 and 20, UPRERAPRJ282078. Read the filing |
| Sector 18 | About 5 to 8 km | The same YEIDA plot scheme registration, UPRERAPRJ282078 |
| Sector 22A | Not in our matrix | 4 registrations whose own filed name or address states Sector 22A. See the Sector 22A directory |
Distances: our connectivity matrix, 12 July 2026, map-based. Register: our UP-RERA directory as on 2 November 2026. The full list of 35 corridor registrations is in the Yamuna Expressway register directory.
For what Sector 22D is, where it sits and what is built there, read our Sector 22D sector page.
Can you buy land or property inside Film City?
No source we cite offers homes or plots inside Film City. YEIDA allots land through its own schemes. Film City is a concession: the phase 1 land went to the concessionaire to build film infrastructure, under an agreement reported to run for 90 years (Business Standard, 27 June 2024). It is not a housing project. None of the 35 Yamuna Expressway registrations in our directory names Sector 21.
If someone offers you a plot or flat “in Film City”, ask for two documents. The first is the YEIDA allotment letter or lease deed for that exact plot. The second is the UP-RERA registration number for the project. If either is missing, you are reading marketing.
What this page will not tell you
We do not forecast prices near Film City. This page makes no claim about what a home nearby will be worth. Film City’s own timeline has already moved: the 2024 plan was construction within four to six months, and in July 2026 YEIDA’s brochures still described it as planned. Judge any project near it on its own registration, its own promoter and its own filed completion date.
