Questions about this estimate

Does this tool show me a construction cost?
No. This configurator computes your buildable area and build scope from your plot size, floor count and tier — it doesn't publish a per-sq-ft rate or a cost figure. Pricing is shared with you person-to-person after the founder walks your plot, and confirmed in writing before any payment.
What's different between the Essential, Premium and Luxe tiers?
These are Vidastu Build's three construction tiers, each with its own finish specification and structural warranty — Essential and Premium carry a 10-year structural warranty, Luxe carries 15 years. Full inclusions, exclusions and pricing for the tier you pick are shared as part of your estimate after a site assessment; see /build/#packages for the package overview.
Why is the estimated built-up area different from my plot size?
Built-up area is modelled from typical ground coverage — 70–80% of plot area, higher on smaller plots — across your chosen floor count, plus about 5% for staircase and circulation, capped near 1.8× plot area to mirror typical YEIDA-sanctioned FAR. Your architect confirms the exact sanctioned built-up area at the map-approval stage.
Is the payment-stage split shown here how my contract will read?
It's the same indicative stage-wise split Vidastu uses across its construction guides — 10% on agreement and design sign-off, 20% at foundation and plinth, 35% at RCC structure and brickwork, 25% at finishes, 10% at handover. The exact milestones and percentages are fixed in your written contract before any payment.
