How far is Jewar Airport from Sector 22D?
About 10-12 km by road and 10 to 15 minutes at the wheel, via the Yamuna Expressway service road. That is the band in our master table, all distances in one table (data last verified 31 July 2026), which calls it the shortest airport-to-residential-sector distance on that page.
This site holds two other readings for the same sector, and both run longer. Our sector matrix reads Sector 22D at roughly 12-15 km, map-based, with a typical off-peak drive of 15-22 minutes and a peak reading of 22-35 minutes (12 July 2026). Our Sector 22D sector page records Gaursons' brochure at 15 to 16 km, with no time stated (as recorded in our sector guide, July 2026). None of the three discloses a start point, route or time of day. Where our own pages disagree, the sector page's advice stands: plan on the longer figure until you have timed your own route.

Figures as each page publishes them. We do not add legs together or work out new figures. The sector matrix tags its distances as reported, map-based, and its times as estimates. Check a live navigation app before a flight.
Which road runs from Sector 22D to the airport?
One. The sector sits beside the expressway that reaches the terminal.
- The Yamuna Expressway service road, direct. That is the route in our master table, which describes the direct stretch as having no traffic signals. Sector 22D lies along the Yamuna Expressway between Pari Chowk in Greater Noida and the airport, in the residential belt near the airport end of the corridor, per our Sector 22D sector page.
- From the Greater Noida side, the same expressway. YEIDA describes the Yamuna Expressway as the access-controlled road connecting Pari Chowk in Greater Noida with Kuberpur in Agra. Our sector matrix reads Sector 22D at roughly 20-24 km from Pari Chowk (map-based, 12 July 2026), so a driver coming down from Greater Noida passes the sector before the airport interchange. From Pari Chowk itself the master table gives approximately 25-40 km and 35 to 45 minutes to the airport; see the Pari Chowk page.
Toll. Our master table notes the Jewar toll plaza on the Yamuna Expressway at the airport's interchange zone, about 8 minutes' drive from Sector 22D, citing Eldeco Echoes of Eden's Sector 22D guide. We print no toll amount, because no page on this site carries a dated, sourced figure. Your FASTag app shows the current rate.
A brochure minute is not a measurement. This site's own figures for Sector 22D run from 10-12 km up to 15-16 km. A brochure line of a few minutes to the airport, with no route, start point or time of day, is a developer's claim, not a measurement (our Sector 22D sector page, updated November 2026). Ask for the start point and the hour behind any figure you are given.
Can you reach the airport from Sector 22D without a car?
Not by rail. No metro or rapid-rail line serves Sector 22D or the airport.
What runs today. Our airport timeline records no metro or rapid-rail link to the terminal, with access described as primarily road-based (Wikipedia, April 2026). The nearest metro is the Noida Metro Aqua Line, which stops at Pari Chowk and does not continue down the expressway (Wikipedia, Aqua Line, checked 2 November 2026); from Pari Chowk, Sector 22D is roughly 20-24 km on our sector matrix. At the opening, Business Today reported on 11 June 2026 that cabs were the only way to reach the airport, then on 12 June 2026 described bus, taxi and expressway options. Ask the operator what is running before you rely on a bus.
Planned, and only planned
- Rapid rail, but not through Sector 22D. The revised Ghaziabad-Jewar RRTS proposal runs from Sarai Kale Khan via Pari Chowk, Ecotech-6 and Dankaur, through YEIDA Sectors 18 and 21, not 22D. It is at the planning and DPR-revision stage: not approved and not under construction (Metro Rail Today, 15 December 2025, as logged on our airport timeline). Our Sector 22D sector page (updated November 2026) records no approved alignment and no construction start.
- A metro line down the expressway. Our NRI airport guide (updated 27 June 2026) records a planned extension from the Noida metro network down the Yamuna Expressway corridor to the airport as in planning and approval stages, with an uncertain timeline.
- Film City, Sector 21. Not transport, but often sold alongside it: planned, roughly 4-6 km from Sector 22D on our sector matrix (12 July 2026). Read our Film City status sheet before you count it as built.
Neither rail line has a date we would repeat. If someone quotes you an airport metro stop by a fixed year, ask for the approval document.
Registered housing in Sector 22D
Sector 22D carries both group housing and individual YEIDA plots. Our register directory lists every UP-RERA registration whose filed name or address states Sector 22D, 10 registrations as on 2 November 2026, with the registration number, promoter and completion date read from the register.
- Sector 22D directory: the 10 registrations whose own filing names Sector 22D.
- Sector 22D sector page: what the sector is, where it sits, what is built and what is still on paper.
- Sector 22D projects compared: the reviewed projects side by side, with every gap named.
- Yamuna Expressway directory: registrations whose filing names the expressway.
- Sector 22A directory: the neighbouring sector on the same expressway.
A registration is a record, not an endorsement. Read the file and the promoter's other registrations before you pay anything. This desk is an authorised channel partner for Gaurs, Eldeco and ACE, so some projects in this sector are ones it can sell; read the directory knowing that.
